| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This image was shot when doing some industrial shooting. I wasn't, however, too thrilled about what I had achieved there. So I thought that there might be something worthwhile in the woods nearby. This image really reminds me of the light's importance when photographing. Just having neat light isn't enough. The light has to be right for the scene as well. While the light wasn't doing anything at all for the industrial scene, it really made me interested in the scene in the woods.
Post-processing: Stitched together three different exposures to get the whole tonal range. Tried to emphasize the warm yellow tone without altering the green tones. Besides that I did some stretching at the upper left side and made some ordinary levels, saturation and cropping. |
