Hello Gunnar !
Cool shot of this oldie. A riveted hull, is very rare these days. Would be nice to see the whole model in a future post . I get a feeling she is really old ( probably a tug , or small coastal vessel). Still in good shape and will maintained at first sight.
Cheers!
Robert

Hello, Gunnar.
It wasn't until I saw this that I now realise that you are active on TL as well as TE. I saw some of your earlier photographs here many months ago but now realise that you are posting here again!
This one is superb - fabulous sharpness, colours and detail - who needs a Hasselblad when you can work these wonders with a pocket-sized compact camera?
In fact, the detail here is so remarkable that I can clearly see signs of previous markings on this ship - signs that the lines were previously painted at a slightly different level. I have looked on Google and Wikipedia but can find no mention of this - do you think that the lines have to be "re-calibrated" from time to time, perhaps if the vessel undergoes a refit or something like that?
A very nice photograph indeed with stunning details. Your wife is right - you don't need a Hasselblad. After all, Leonardo da Vinci didn't need a spray-gun or an airbrush, did he?
Best Wishes,
John.
P.S. It appears that TE of late has been incredibly slow (or is it my old computer?) and I think that makes people more likely to look at TL than TE. Perhaps things will improve.
