Love sheep ,they are hardy animals capable of enduring through harsh climatic conditions roaming about in open fields ,on the side and top of hills ,in deep valleys, rockier terrain as well .I happened to pass by this field (not in the worst condition here at all...an almost perfect day in fact )one late August morning to find these sheep not grazing the tall grass but cuddled up in a bundle as to keep warm .Aren't they lovely ? Oh well who would not like the face of a sheep ...lol. A scene captured in the countryside in north central Sweden near the town of Vilhelmina right by the side of highway 45( was easy to spot ).I do not know if the owner lives in the cute red house at the back but i made sure to include it in the picture...
F/4,1/160 few adjustments (contrast , saturation and sharpening ), my usual outside frame. If you like sheep i have other photos of these cute animals that i will also put on the site in a near future ,watch out for them ,
Thanks in advance to everyone visiting and leaving a critique ,always appreciated,
Carol

Precious shot Carol, well composed with the house in the background.
I like your POV and the quality is superb.
Well done.

Superbe.
Bien vu
Pierre

Hi Carol, looks like these guy's are cold, huddled together like that, good POV, the inclusion of the red house adds a nice complimentary colour to the greens as well as a little impact.

Bonjour Carol,

Dot

HI Carol, If these sheep were cold in August, then they need some cashmere sweaters for the winter! :D

Great photo of nature. I like the sheep all huddled together in the tall grass. (There's always one in a group looking at the camera! Don't you just hate that LOL). The scene does look cozy with the sheep and the cute red house in the background.

As always Carol, your photos are so admired!

tfs, Lisa

Hi Carol,
Wonderful capture of these huddling wollies. The little red house adds a lot to this lovely image. My border collie would have great fun keeping these guys in a tight pack.
Regards, Tom

Bonjour Carol,
Bravo! Annie

Hello Carol,
This is such a pleasant composition, the sheep in front as eye-catchers but next my eyes go to "den røda lilla stugan"..!
Sheep are believed to be silly animals and not among the brightest, I don't know but it is a fact they are able to survive rough conditions and predators in nature...
A successful composition indeed!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Bonjour Carol
Robert
