[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a very grey day with a snowfall I took a walk that for some reason passed a place where the steel mill dumps worn out machinery. I like the contrast between the miniature snowdrifts forming on the pipes. Those pipes are about 20 mm in diameter.

The yellow was very strong, I desaturated quite a bit but tried to keep the rust.

Reading your note and looking at the picture, I feel like you should have moved closer and maybe more to the side of the pipes to give the snow a stronger prescence in the photo, right now there are too much area that is not part of the story.

Like you Ebbe, I often find beauty resting within the ruins of a junkyard,as you have found in this photo. In fact I was visiting a junkyard yesterday to find some parts for the farm and I saw something that made me say to myself: " I must take a picture of this for Ebbe". I will post it tomorrow.

as you know, junkyards are theme parks for me, Ebbe, and so is rust. rust with snow is a very nice combination. Well done.

I like the colour combinations here. The yellow works well, makes me wonder just how bright it was, if this is the desaturated version...
