Magical shot Eric!! This is the time when the 'place it in the centre' composition works wonder!
I usually prefer the rule of third for my horizon and I personally think it would look more powerful here. But you absolutely have made an awesome shot here!!
The detail of the pier and the overall colour is, quite simply, amazing my friend!
