Hi evrybody,
This is another one of the panoramas I made last Summer in Sweden. This is Karbelg Slot, and old Castle that now serves as military school in Stockholm. In Summer time, when the sun shines for many many hours, it is apleasure to sit in front of the castle, where they have a nice lawn with gree grass and water from the lake. It's lovely! And the gardens on the back are a paradise for kids, joggers, or just for those who go for a walk, enjoying the good weather.

So, hope you like it as much as I do.

take care, Stef :))

Tech. As I mentioned, this is a panorama. A bit different from the others, since I did that from paper copies, or better, from scanned negatives. I assembled it by hand, using photoshop to correct perspective and exposure. There is many imperfections, specially in the sky where the exposure differences are more unforgiving, but I think I'm improving nonetheless.

Have a great day and thx very very much for stopping by!

S.

ps: forgot to mention: the bacl rim is not my idea, but I needed to add in order to activate large post feature....

Hello Stef!
Wow what a long house!! :) Nice panorama! I like the shilouette of that branch which is braking the monotony of the sky!
Tech. part: if you're using PS CS or CS2 use the Patch Tool (J)--> click "destination" instead of "source" and with it you can easily make the exposure differences disappeared!! :)
Just "lasso" an area of the sky and put it on the part where the stitching and the expusure differences are visible!!
That easy! :)
cheers

The composition in my opinion is not perfect. Better without the "cut" ships in the foreground.

Hi Stef,

Great panoramic capture of a very impressive Castle, with excellent detail, lighting and colors.

Hello Stefania !

Again a nice postprocessing job to stich these shots together manually. Considering the black border that you had to have , I think it would have been better to keep the line of boats and show it more instead of just the top. You would have kept the same proportions except the black areas would be the bottom parts of the boats . Just a thought (*_^).

Hats of again for the cool stitching job, from negatives !
Cheers!
Robert

Stef, hi.
Realy looking intense to this absolute nice photo to find a 'nit point' wich was hard/not easy.
You know what ...,the boats!
Either on in full or not.
So my judgment on the 0-10 scale a 9!
Boats full in picture , a 10 :-)
Bye
John

Very interesting history, knowledge about somewhere nice to go in Stockholm and also a nice picture... :

Another good panomaric shot of yours. I would try to use a clone brush and work a bit more on the sky to reduce the appearance of stitching; other than that, it is lovely and am sure took you a very long time to get it done.

Adorei!!
Parabens
