Amazing to see this old beauty still in action! It wouldn't be as quick as today's fire engines but I bet it still gets the job done well. Looks in pristine condition. You've done it justice with the sepia conversion, works really well. Certainly looks authentic.

Maybe I would have given this a slight reddish sepia tint, to fit the firefighters title? Just a subjective idea of mine. Regardless, it's a good shot of the old car, & the antique filter has done its job. Good sharpness & framing. Have a great weekend!

The antique effect really works well with this old Volvo. POV and composition with the firehouse in the background is excellent. I think you're right about the age of the car, because one of my high school teachers had a Volvo with the same style front end :(

I remember my favorite old cars
and the beautiful ornaments that load in your hood.
A beautiful look and making it a good pp
for a period of 40 or 50.

Hi Kristof..this is a great shot with some memories for me...In 1972 I went to Norway to be a Family Doctor....I was a student at the time...when I arrived on the west coast, the doctor picked me up in this car....it was an interesting time for me...thanks for posting this shot.
