today, tomorrow, yesterday..

And death shall have no dominion.
dead men naked they shall be one
with the man in the wind and the west moon;
when their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
they shall have stars at elbow and foot;
though they go mad they shall be sane,
though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
though lovers be lost love shall not;
and death shall have no dominion.

....
Dylan Thomas

world goes fast.. life runs quickly..
and i dont know if we have to be quiet.. or to go faster!
what it’ll remain of us..
after thousand of miles trough this hyperdrive.. called life
it’s really difficult to know!!
(sure something here on TL)..
i think.. we need a pause everytime.. to reflect..
maybe only love can give us.. our own sense!
....
empty rooms.. empty toughts.. empty feelings..
time is going.. or it’s gone forever!
today.. is yesterday.. is tomorrow.. hurry up!!

thanks to Selahattin for his post
even if i’m really sorry and it’s so sad, you made me think a lot!!

warning sign.. my mood..
“so I crawl back into your opening arms”
i think nothing is better than a warm embrace..
when you feel yourself alone
.....
my dear friend marcocig the model in this portrait!

Comments and critics are welcome
Thanks
Ciao Marco

PS.. perspective is a bit increased in PP.. to increase the mood!

Hi Marco...
Beautiful shot...
Nice composition and colors...

Molto bello il contrasto tra la posa immobile e pensosa di Marco e la vita che scorre alla velocità del fulmine fuori dal finestrino del treno... intensi ed interessanti anche i link e la nota.
Buon ferragosto!
Ciao, Antonella

Hi Marco,

As usual you wrote lovely note . . a reminder . . a message for all of us . .
Marlboro on the table with no ashtray and in air conditioned wagon . . will you run faster? or slower?
But I like his expression of considering his life . . watching outside of himself . .
Well presented . .

A good daily life image.

This photo is awesome! Not only for the extreme blur to the left, but the man's contemplative expression adds so much to the emotion of the picture. "Just another day going the speed of light!" Excellent exposure here, considering the white table! Nice work Marco!

The best way of transport, the train, the train has its own culture and mood, something a car or an airplane never had and never will have.
Great trainmood you captured here Marco.
My last traintrip in july from Amsterdam to Venezia was one of the best I had.

A good reflection and movement in the window.
The person looking out the window to the scenery has a rather blaw look of I don't care which you captured well.
A good shot

Hi Marco,

This shot is exactly my mood recently. I want to be on a train, going anywhere, stopping whenever I would like. My life is a journey, yet begun.

The mood is spectacular! The reflection of him seems to be watching his world from an outsiders view. Very captivating. Nice use of saturation. He's a natural model. ciao, Lisa

Hi Marco,
I don't know why, I have the impression to look at a scene of a film! Give this photo and your note to Claude Lelouch! He will make of them a great film! Or, produce it by yourself! Your choice of casting and music mood are good! And you know also compose your image into your eye before shooting.
You played well with the perspective! The speed of train ...and life is so credible.
All my congratulations!
Thanks for your inspiring work!
Annie

Nicely composed and preseneted Marco.
The motion of the green area outside is spectacular.
The contrast to the reflective and relaxed interior is captured magnificently.
Bravo!

Call me weird, Marco, but I feel the picture is tilted and that breaks a bit of the mood for me.
I like the sharpness in the picture, and the way you got the outside world so blurry. Marco (the other one) sure knows how to sit still in a fast moving train ☺^☺.

Hi Marco,

Deep thoughts, sad moments, reflections, all part of life as we know it.
Indeed, empty your mind now and then and a train is a good place to do so - you captured the mood of life speeding by on a fast track in a most impressive way.

Very good image in the fast driving train with the man thinking your note all over.

Hello Marco,
Beautiful portrait very well composed and with a superb light and colours. The «eye-catching» green in the window gives a superb light and a very successful movement idea. The lights on the top of the vagon gies a great depht, and in the same time, a wonderfull warm mood.
Congrats, mb

PS1: Excelent work in your note wityh a special reference to the poem of Dylan Thomas, a poet that I love.
PS2: Conclusion: a superb postin.

Have you seen the movie "Solaris", starring George Clooney? It was made upon the novel with the same name, written by Stanislaw Lem. If you haven't, I recommend it from all my heart. I bet you'll like it! Dylan Thomas's poem reminded me of it... :)
Exceptional posting! Congratulations!

Hi Marco,
The use of the natural light to illuminate your subject is a strong point , the low shutter speed blurring totally the passing scenery emphasizes the moody feeling further and one more plus is your model's meaningful expression , your notes describe nicely what goes on in the man's head ,yes Marco time flies so fast and life goes on,dreaming is now and future hold its surprises .I like the idea behind this photo, good work ,

I would call it "At that very moment he gave up smoking". Nice framing, besides the capture itself, of course.

Ciao Marco, bellissima composizione il movimento fuiri e l'immobilità della persona con un'espressione così assota.
Luce fantastica.
Il titolo mi ha fatto venire in mente alcuni versi che avevo tradotto alle superiori del Macbeth:
"Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow
creeps in this petty pace from day to day
to the last syllable of recorded time,
and all our yersterdays have lighted fools
the way to dusty death" " Domani, e domani, e domani striscia di piccoli passi da un giorno all'altro, fino all'ultima sillaba del tempo stabilito, e tutti i nostri ieri hanno illuminato la via agli sciocchi verso la morte che incenerisce." Buonanotte Mari

Made me think again about how quickly life goes by us in a blur of events. Things on temporarily hold quickly become irrelevant, and if we do not seize the moment, it is gone.
Your picture speaks a thousand words, and your note adds a thousand more thoughts to contemplate .....
Cheers
Otto
