[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken somewhere along a picturesque country road somewhere in an also very picturesque rural region of north central Sweden , well hey hey sorry for not being more accurate in providing the exact location of this cute little church, the thing is i never ever take a note as to where , how or why ? a photo is taken , normally relying on my faithful memory to get the factual info about a shot when needed - HUH! well i now realize ( been realizing that for a while ...lol ) that age ( yes age ! ) and for sure the sheer number of places and pictures of those visited during my travels ( even though this picture is only two and half years old ) have gradually and obviously i know neutralised my 'used to have ' ability to put a name and location on my pictures , Damn it !It 's so true ,i am on the decline, on a slump as far as memory goes , hi hi but even in the knowledge of the hard fact that i have grown older i still object to take notes as i am usually too anxious to take the photo proper and to move on to another site to bother with the note-taking matter anyway , i shoot far too many to even consider doing this ! Anyway ...
The church was near the town of Sveg as i passed through this village that is the highest village of the country , i recall .
f/3.5 , 1/60 sun was setting behind the hills , color balanced with some more yellow and red to saturate some of the existing tints in the sky , played with curves ,as usual a bit of sharpening ,
my humble contribution to this Friday's theme , thanks for reviewing ,
Carol

Fantastic place, fantastic moment.
Hi Carol, this shot is beautiful, I love the atmosphere and I wonder to see that church so bright - looks similar to HDR, that's wonderful, thanks and greetings

What a lovely old church - similar architecture has been used world-wide many years ago. We have them here but not with the curved roof or clock on the tower.
Nicely composed image Carol, the sky in the BG is quite pretty too,

Hi Carol,
a nice sunset, but the light is a little overexposed for me.
Pheraps the church is placed too in the left corner and the line of the orizont is pending on the right.
Hovewer, I think that this is a nice picture.

Vraiment bien Carol ! Que dire ? J'aime.

Iso.

The church seems to lean forward so i think you have overstraightened. Good time of day for the shot - the light is lovely and the shape and colour of the church are good.
warm regards

And a wonderful addition to the theme it is. Sunset well captured. Colors of the church and the sky well controls Carol. Like the clarity and the composition.

This is just beautiful Carol! I love the evening light, but you can still see the church! That is what is so nice about this! Excellent pp work, what a beautiful place!

Salut Carol.

Vraiment une belle photo. Beau ciel (quelles flammes;).

Amicalement
Pascal-Eric

Olá Carol,
Fantastic colors and POV. Marvelous scenery and great contribution for the week's theme.

Hi Carol,

Nice image for the theme. Sharpness and exposure are excellent preserving the mood of the moment. Composition is good and subject color combine beautifully with the sky. Nice work and TFS.
