By the shores of lake Vänern stands this 15 meter high Pablo Picasso statue since 1965.

While Tom was at school in Kristinehamn I walked out to the Picasso Sculpture. Being winter and a little chilly I had this place to myself.. I can only imagine what this place looks like in spring and summer...

the little bit of sun/light clouds on the upper right is all the sun we saw until few flew out 5 days later!

Hi Tricia, I like the cloudy sky with the statue. It kind of makes it all flow together., i.e. same tones in the sky, trees, statue. Interesting statue! I thought it was wood! Thanks for showing ws.

I didn't know that there was a picasso statue in Sweden. I too like the gray tones of the photo. The crop could be more tight. I try.

Hi Tricia,
It is wonderful place to be ever remembered with the water all around,bushy rocks and this statue. I like the grey tones here.
