[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This country is so perfect it doesn't look like anyone really lives here....not a speck of dirt, no litter, perfectly manicured fields and even the 300 year old sheds that old the foot for the farm animals are perfectly cared for!

I have posted a workshop and a black and white version of this shot using mostly the red channel in the channel mixer, adjusting blacks and whites with the curves eyedropper and using the recovery slider to bring out the clouds (this was done in the color version as well).

This shot was taken on the road back to Lenzeheide from Davos.

Thanks for all the comments yesterday....I like this shot and agree (as always) with Rew...the shot came out a bit dark on the website so I played with the light.

I took the shot from yesterday and used the Adjustment Brush to lighten the church...then I lightened the overall picture a slight amount.

Critiques [Translate]

Admittedly, when I viewed the original of this shot it was on my work PC, which is darker than my Mac at home. Viewing it again, on my Mac, it looks better - but this RP version is better still, and brings out the postcard-beauty of the scene so well.

Just beautiful, Roger. You've captured the great sense of pristine space and old world feel of Switzerland in this shot. The colors are warm and natural. Well-composed with the church on the right, leaving the open field in the rest of the frame. You may be getting a feel for why I took up photography while living in Switzerland - the entire country is an endless series of postcard scenes, and photographing them is almost irresistable.
