Clouds coming in to the valley
Today a new photo in the series winter sport. Saas Fee is surrounded by a lot of mountains higher then 4000 meters. On the Fee glacier you can ski all year long.
You can make a trip to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn 4478 meter
And find the second highest mountain in Europe Monta Rosa.
In summertime we made once a trip around this mountain in a week and used this a forerunner for Nepal Himalaya

Amazing shot. the clouds are really fantastic. TFS

Hi Ruud,

WOW!!!
Incredible beauty! The snow looks fantastic with that natural sun light, its texture is amazing! Fantastic blue of the sky and very nice the fact that the clouds seem like 'resting' on the mountain.
Well done!

Thank you to take us towards a landscape so beautiful and resting. It is necessary to go up very high to reach the perfection. I believe that the Creator had understood it! Regards! Annie

Hoi Ruud; een mens of dier of boom zou de verhoudingen vertellen hier; jij weet hoe machtig groot het was en wij niet. Afgzezien van dit verhoudingenprobleem is het wel een machtige foto.

Erg mooi uitzicht. Is dit met een polarisatie filter gedaan?

Well captured. I can imagine how difficult it is to get snow and cloud and balance it so that the exposure is this good!

dragon king,
another great shot of the mountains and good color and detail on the shot. good composition. rolling fogs gives this shot the depth perception.

Hello Ruud,
Well, you must have known that I will stop by this image;) It illustrates so well what I love so much about mountaineering: the sheer beauty of the mountains, crisp blue sky, the feeling of freedom of being there in the nature and oh, any chance of seeing any photos of the Materhorn?
