Let there be light!

The dark days have returned for me, I'm back at school. Nasty teachers shouting: He you there...

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

"Wrong, Do it again!"
"If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you
have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?"
"You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still laddy!"

Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 (Waters)

So dark times returned....but there is light! Light in my hotel above the bar :-)

Took this shot from this special light bulb...it gives me the spirit for tomorrow!

And for our Dutch/Flemish members, indeed I'm staying in Kloten, that says it all.

Greetz from Switzerland.

Hello Hans,
The composition is excellent. Very good illustration of the shade with Light and contrast. Very beautiful idea.
Best regards.
Eva

Hans
I find the bulb facinating the way you have captured the filament. So many filaments - is this the way the bulb was manufactured or some kind of duplication of the filament? Either way very impressive.

Dan

LOL!! This is the ring tone on my phone when my sons call me. I hope they never call while I am at work (at a SCHOOL) :D

This is an interesting shot. I like the modern abstract look. This looks like it could hold your attention for quite some time.

Thanks for sharing, Lisa

Photo Number 666 (^_^)

Melodrama mood , and ambiance in this evil red. Or was is it in the Red District ? Seriously , a very unsual shot . Despite the low light, the image is admirably clear, and well exposed.

Well seen and captured Hans !
Bravo!

Yep, a well known song sung by my kids!!
Plus me: "You can't have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat!"

I love the lightbulb Hansie - it's interesting to see all the wires alight inside.

Surely there's gonna be a good shot 5 minutes outside your hotel in Kloten!

Happy shooting
Janice

This shot of yours has reminded me one of my early posts on TL Hans, I like the warm colours emitted by the filament.. nice one, thanks

Lekker phsygodelisch Hans, moet gelijk aan ""let there be more light""van het Pink-Floyd album Saucerfull of Segrets(nog met Syd Barrett!)denken.
Groetjes naar een ouwe hippie op Kloten!

Fortunately I know better than that!

Great idea and excecution. Really like the "light" hahhaahahh

Be thankful for the final n in the town's name, Hans ☺^☺.
I like this light bulb and the fine details you show us; not only of the light emitting resistance, but also of the reflections in the glass bulb.
A beauty, and I confess I have no nit-picks at all. Well, you could easily clone out some brighter pixels in the bottom and the right part of the bulb, but they're not an issue.
Well done.

Very artistic Hans. Nice crispness and then fuzziness right beside. Centering is correct for this image. What kind of school are you at?

Hello,

Of vergis ik me nou?
Heel verschillend qua pret-gehalte.
groeten,
Joop!

kloten, haha, i guess even with my limited knowledge of the dutch language, i sense it means something nasty.*g*
hi hans, hope you are doing well, being in switzerland it can hardly get better, but what about the light bulb?
this is some really amazing artwork - the low orange light and the twisted details are terrific. there are some nice
reflections on it on the sides, but i could see you...take care & best wishes, thor.

Hoi Hans,
Groeten,
Niek

Hi Hans ;)
Great...
J ;)

Bijna perfect Hans ( IMO )!
is voldoende.

Volg je nog avondschool dan ?

Groetjes
Jan

Als Nederlandstalige heb ik het begrepen !
LOL !
