[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While wandering round one of the huge cemeteries in Zurich, came across a little haven of ponds, covered in water lillies. Tried lots of different ways of framing pictures of them, but still always come back to the simplicity and elegance of the flowers themselves.

This is a Nymphaea Alba, highly invasive with a pure white, star shaped flowers.

It is, indeed, the simplicity of this shot which gives it its appeal. You have composed it nicely and it has good detail. Alexandra's workshop gives it some dramatic impact.

Hi Cerys,
a well shot lily with excellent clarity and sharpness. The inner yellow is significantly glowing and the water droplets add dramatic effect to the beautiful photo.

Hey Cerys,
To get straight to the point and fully technical, while I do believe that the subject is wonderful. I personally find (it may be just my monitor or the natural light entering the window), that the image is very dark and has certainly a greyish tinge to it. The crop could also be a bit stronger, focusing not on the leaves but only on the plant.
