The photo shows the old people's home building attending to the St Jacques Stadium in Basel, concepted by architects Jacques Herzog & Pierre De Meuron.
What i like in it are diferent the perspectives (building, stairs, handramp).
The photo originally was in colour, but as the sky was quite gloomy-greyish and the building had no real colours, i converted the file in black&white. The perspective lines aren't affected by it. I also slightly re-framed it.
What this picture shows too is that even if modern architecture often only uses 90° angles, they don't show up when one looks at it. So please stop saying that modern architecture is boring ;-))! |
