Hello Adrian,
I was in Bern more than 20 years ago before the advent of digital photography. I thank you for posting this as it brings many fond memories. The composition is quite good and emphasizes the historic features of the city. Fine lead-in lines from the rail tracks, the flags add color, and good to see people as it makes the image more alive. lined vivid flags, curved rails and various people make cheerful music in this picture.
of course old houses make basic rhythm, and the light and shadow also make nice crescendo and decrescendo.

Hello Adrian,

A very good pov which uses the converging lines of the trams, the road and the buildings to draw the eyes into the shot; and there is so much to see! The image is alive with the bustling crowds and the vibrantly coloured flags.
Interesting building-shadows on the r/h side.

Initially, I was a little concerned about sharpness but after seeing the result of sharpening in PS, decided that you were right to leave it as it is.
