Interesting portrait. I reckon most portraits like this are in bw, but I think color works well here. I love that you chose to keep some detail in the background. I'm thinking, if it was possible, you could have tried to get some light from the window on the background (since this is not a studio shot). Just a thought...

Wat zie ik hier? Karla? Tjeemigte peemig, hoef niet te vragen wie de moeder is, daar is geen DNA-test voor nodig! Geweldige plaat Marcel. Mooie dochter, mooie foto in een mooi frame. Gebruik mooi het woord mooi nooit zoveel.

Very good, Marcel! The model is just fantastic in the expression you got. I thought the light on the bottom, near her chin was a bit strong, though, maybe just a setting less of exposure would nail it. If her skin tone were darker, it would not have mattered, though.

I looked at the workshop picture and it was just VERY dramatic with the window (if it were made perpendicular).

Hi marcel,
Mijn grote liefde is eigenlijk portreten daarom was dit de eerste die ik pakte uit je mooie portfolio. Mooie heldere goed belichte opname met wat tegenlicht in het haar. Het blauw en zwart heeft en mooie balans. De kijk ruimte die je je dochter geeft is hier goed gekozen. Hellemaal af dit portret.
