Hi there.

Here is the first post of a triptych (or a bit more)
The theme is over a morning on the lake Leman in Geneva. I had no tripod but it was impossible not to take few pics in front of such a festival of colorful lights.
There is of course some adjustments in the levels and the contrast/brightness.

There is no real deep message in this pic. Just, IMO, a cool shot with a "zto-like-framing". (thanks zandra for the inspiration)

Hope you like this and you'll like the followings.

PS : I'll be more present until now, I'll write more critiques. I promise ;-)...
Have a great break !

Tenderly yours,
Denis.

very cool reflections Denis :-) (and lovely zto-like-framing too ihih) it's so interesting how those lights that look so small on the land can seem to go on forever on the water.. so i guess there is a bit of a deep message here after all! that perception of something always changes depending on the circumstances and that should always be taken into consideration.. :-)

well done!
Ayda

Yo Denis, great shot you got there, I like the reflection on the water, so colourful, focus is a bit soft, but it just make your shot look very dreamy... good job. TFS

Hello Denis,
This is very nice.. Great colored reflections on the lake.. You saw it well and captured perfect..
By the way, you hold the camera very good for 3 seconds without tripod.. That is something I can never do.. :)
Congrats!
..Calayan

Salut denis,

Hi Dennis, beautiful and colourful reflections. nino

I Dennis,
Incredible view isn't it? I still can see it when I close my eyes... Geneve is a wonderful city indeed and if you had passed the shot you would certainly regret ;) It's a beautiful one, specialy the colour reflexions on the water. And it is hard to take such pictures wthout a tripod; I made attempts myself. But it works!!!

Take care, Stef

Salut Denis, you're doing it again! You made a picture of Geneva that makes me jealous and makes me miss the city a lot...! It's very nice, the zto-framing works well with the colourful yet dark picture. The composition of the picture is really good, the upper part consisting of mainly horizontal lines while the lines in the lower part are perpendicular to it.
Au revoir!
Annelies
PS: Three seconds and no tripod? Wow!

The colourful reflections from the signs in the water are great. Not bad shot considering the long exposure and no tripod. Does the horizon seem tilted?

Allo Denis !

Hi Denis,
I like the color and reflection on the water. Very great night shot even without the tripod!!
Regards
Branka
