Deze kerstroos heb ik destijds ook gefotografeerd in Zwitserland. De prachtige kleuren vielen me meteen op.
Zo mooi heb ik ze hier nog niet kunnen ontdekken, hoewel ze er ongetwifeld wel zijn.

Over de Hellebora, Kerstroos:

De "Rose de Noël" wordt ten onrechte wel de kerstroos genoemd, de officiële naam is toch echt nieskruid of nieswortel. De bloem lijkt in de verste verte niet op een roos.
Helleborus orientalis bloeit op lange stelen
Tegen de kerst worden ze in de kas in bloei getrokken. De planten worden in pot of als snijbloem aangeboden. Gooi de potplant na een kerst niet weg, want het is een plant die op een beschaduwde plaats in de tuin nog vele kerstfeesten kan beleven.

I also photographed this Christmas rose in Switzerland. The splendid colours were notable me immediately. This way beautiful I did not yet discover them here, but they will certainly grow somewhere in my neighbourhood.

mooi weer Marga. Ook mooi ingeframed. Is dit dezelfde kleur als die foto v Kim die ik jou stuurde ?

Ja helleborussen zijn pracchtige bloemen maar deze kleur speciaal.
