has a single bovine race in the world: the race of Hérens. This robust cow has the characteristic to fight to establish a hierarchy in the herd. These engagements are held in a natural way. At the time of the exit of the cattle shed, in spring, at the time of the rise to the mountain pasture, they clash with blows of horns.

This photo was taken at the time of the Cantonal Finale of combat of Queens, yesterday, in Aproz.

Wow, this one is pure action, Isabelle. The dramatic position of the heads, the motion blur, the sand "gushing" around the hooves. Excellent dynamic capture!

You keep amazing me Isabelle! Such a great capture with a perfect tight framing and well chosen sepia tone... The only thing which disturbs me a little - [but I already told about that and it's only my personal opinion] - is the too heavy and too dark frame around this great photo.

Powerful photo Isabelle. Very impressive. You can almost feel the power and the motion. Very well done.

Great job Isabel. Really stunning. This picture send out pure power. I think i like this one better then the one on TE, because of the motion blur. In fact i think it is the blut hat makes it go from great picture to amazingly great picture. Congratulations!

A fabulous shot which gives a real feeling of the power as these two animals clash together.
Very intense look in their eyes which you have captured also.
Excellent,well done.
