this is nice. the photo is very simple but very beautiful & eye catching! nice composition here! well done!

Hypnotic image. Great sharpness and pattern. B&W is the best choice to this one. Only disturbing thing is that snow stopper on the left, but hey, it is there anyway :-).

two points....and a small ws, hope you dont mind :)
Thank you

Well seen minimalist! I'd frame it a bit more to upper and to right side. Good choice of b&w...

I really like this one. I think the key element is the asymmetry of the two groups of windows on the roof and the way you've framed the overall grouping in the frame. It works well as an abstract.

If you made the snow catcher disappear, I think it would really highlight the abstract nature of the photo, even though this is not as abstract as some photos can get -- it's still easy to recognize as interesting roof windows, but it's also a well enough done composition to make it easy to suspend your normal ability to recognize the familiar contents of the scene and imagine it instead as an abstract.

I would also like to suggest cropping the bottom edge to imply that the shingles might just be going on forever, rather than showing that the windows are right at the bottom of the roof. That would add to the abstract nature significantly.

Nice, simple abstract. I would crop off the bottom bit and even have a crack at getting rid of the snow stoper thingy. Well seen!

Excellent effet de perspective et le rendu en NB est magnifique.

Et tout simplement excellent. Le traitement en noir et blanc est bien vu et accentue l'effet graphique de la photo. Bravo.

Hi Claude,

very interesting work with good details. Excellent composition making geometrical work out of this photo. Nice ide to turn to b&w to emphasizde the shapes. I'd love to see this also in colours in full version.
