Your high altitude shots of the winter scenery are worth revisit to your gallery to follow your travel steps up the mountains of Switzerland and this one has the added advantage of the castle-like buildings on top of a smaller hill to a larger looming mountainous background covered with snow. Good work.

You have captured a wonderful shot demonstrating the effects of light and shade on the mountains. The cracks and crevices, humps and hollows, have all been revealed in this painting of blues and greys.
The f/g building and the l/h cloud, help to convey the perspective.

being a skier, i know how difficult it is to capture the size of these magnificent mountains. You however, did in this shot!!! It's Great. Your framing is perfect along with the sharpness and colors. good job.

Quelle splendeur, cette montagne sous cette lumière! La basilique déjà imposante en elle-même paraît toute petite à côté d'elle! Excellent rendu des ombres et des textures.

Tu me pardonneras, mais je ne peux m'empêcher d'y voir une belle grosse meringue toute craquante au sortir du four! :)
