Hi Jon.

Wonderful rose, great PP you have done on this one, truly awesome, well done.

Hi Jonathan,
Great shot of the rose here. The focus is very sharp right where it should be, and I really like the DoF. The background is black, and hence there is nothing to distract the viewer. The white frame nicely balances out the darker parts of the photo. It is not the first time that two people on TL say the exact opposite, but I'm not sure I agree with mbasil. I like the rose being just off center and the very shallow DoF. Just my opinion of course.
Brilliantly done and tfs,
Jako

Beautiful. You did a good job of capturing the essence of this rose, Jonathan. I love the subject and the color. Well captured. In terms of suggestions, though, I have 1, although this is more a matter of taste. Tt looks like you did a bit of a blur. It seems a bit heavy-handed to me, so I would suggest toning it down a bit.

What a romantic rose, you shot. Wonderful photo with great softness, color & sharpness. Very well done.

"ei, gente, olha a textura e a cor dessas pétalas!"
