Shot at hight of 3100 metres above sea level this is the highest place on Earth I have ever stood. Still not as high as the Matterhorn in the background of this shot or as high as this Alpine Chough can fly but an achievement for me.
Taken at a tempriture of about -8c the Canon 350d had no problems.

The passing bird is great in this photo, and the Matterhorn (Mont Cervin in French) is suddenly coming back in my mind, not seen since more than 20 years, I miss it ! (skied and mountaineered there a lot in my twenties...)
