[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the lakefront town of Lutry there is a canal that brings water collected from the mountains down through the town and into Lake Geneva. Just at the point where the canal meets the lake, a small arched bridge connects the two sides of the canal. Here, I was standing over the canal looking out toward the glittering lake with the bridge in between.

This is a very beautiful capture, the reflection of the sun on the water and the silhouettes against this shiny background is to me perfect. Having it in B&W gives it a lot of punch.

Excellent composition, I like the combined effect of the arched bridge and the lacelike branches backlit by the bright reflections. It was a good idea to wait for a human subject, and the child on the scoot is perfect for the task.

Great view!!! What a wonderful bridge! I'm a huge fan of Art Nouveau and this reminds me of it through the curved lines of the bent metal. Really nice b&w conversion. It adds up to the atmosphere!

A beautiful photo. I love silhouettes against the sparkling water. Your POV and compositions is spended. The branches create a veil to keep the reflection from being to overpowering. Nicely done.
