Hi Urs,

Lovely capture of the beautiful cloud pattern in the blue sky with nice side placing of the tree! The colors are perfect and so are the sharpness and POV. The boats are bringing great contrast intothe picture. The lake water is simply awesome. The sky reflects wonderful mood into the shot.

Hello, Urs -
The wide angle creates a sense of broad space. Great POV to show the expanse of Lac Léman and the mountains lining the lake behind. The sky with it's unusual pattern of clouds makes a great background. Saint-Prex is a love town. Great atmosphere to this image.

what a shot. simply superb. the clouds at the above adding a huge impact here. the tree is well placed and adding to the photo. the boats provides the perfect contrast here.

Great use of the 14-24mm lenses. It really the lake openness. I have sailed into this little harbour few times, but never saw a sky like this.

What a beautiful shot Urs.

I am loving the sky - really brings out the beauty in this shot - nice composition.

The only thing i would like to say if i may is the unbalanced brightness and highlights on the tree - they are very distracting - other then that a very nice shot with nice colours and good exposure control.

Quelle superbe composition du ciel s'étirant comme un flot de voitures sur l'autoroute à toute vitesse à l'arbre prenant le même chemin et ces bateaux bien rangés attendant leur départ pour une balade sur ce lac immense!!!

dear Urs,
all clouds look radiated from vanishing point beyond the sails.
this dynamic flowing sky makes the tree and boats so steady.
I especially like this standing posture of the tree, it is brave.
maybe we feel unmoved feeling of it, in actual stream of the world.

Excellent skyscape ... the foreground tree completes the composition. However, there seems to be an area on the tree wher the contrast does not match rest of the frame ... Or, is it my screen?
