I could have titled this picture something like "Dr Jekhill and Mr Hide"... or... something else meaning that things (like people) can present many different faces, sides...
I took the original pictures (bottom) of dead butterfly floating on the surface of dirty water holes. Tuning it negative colors presented a completly diffenrent atmosphere, a lot much "poetic".. as if butterflies were taking like again to fly in a strange purple sky.
I decided to show here the two versions simultaneously. |

You right - this is very poetic and a good idea to give us both negative and positive photos of the same motifs - Thanks for sharing this fine work Isabelle.
Very interesting image, Isabelle. It looks the butterflies are under water. You might want to clean up some of the backgrounds; I can't see what function the dirtiness fulfills. I love the contrasting images, and the 6 panels make a fine study.
Il y a vraiment quelque chose de magique dans ces clichés! J'aime autant la section du bas que celle du haut. Du premier coup d'oeil et après avoir lu la note indiquant que les papillons étaient morts, la série du haut m'a fait penser qu'il s'agissait de l'âme de ces papillons.
You certainly are creative Isabelle, one of the main ingredients for good composition. I like this montage, I think you have captured the resurrection of the moth very well. Your note is also very interesting.
