These are the reflections on the ceiling of my favorite lamp at my mom's place in Ukraine. I took this photo when I was leaving, for the memory, because I have always liked this lamp and this time I noticed and liked these reflections very much. I also was very sad to leave. I did not go to that place again, since spring 1997 and I am very glad that I took this picture at that time. It keeps my memory of my wonderful visit to my mom's place: I was sick before that and really wanted to be at that place, and I made it!

A really lovely capture, Irina. I think it's a good idea to photograph favorite places as you never know when you'll get back.

Memories is what i also keep close to my heart. and yes i also love geography like you. I hope one day you can go back. that lamp looks like an art deco or 1950's style lamp.
