Another one which makes you wonder what is going on in that lovely little mind! This was taken at Donnington Castle overlooking Newbury. It does help to have gorgeous little models!!

cute little girl and nice moment you've caught here.
however, the photo could be a bit more contrasting and probably i would prefer colour more than this sepia (my personal view is that sepia and little children do not fit together, but, of course, it's only my subjective opinion).
anyhow, i like your work!

Hi Caroline, very good capture of this cute little girl's expression- she sure is thinking something about what is in her hands. I like the framing and the sepia- I think it works well, and I am partial to sepia ;) Great job- reminds me of some of the greeting cards I've seen- very nice!

Steve

Such a lot of thought about the object in her hand, it looks as if she were considering the whole world in a microcosm, a rock for the earth. This is well composed, I like the sharpness of the little girl against the blurred background, putting my attention right where it should be. I also like the sepia tone, which (IMHO) makes the photo a classic.
Regards,
Lois

Great shot with good depth of field. I like the sepia tones. She's so cute.

Hi Caroline,

I really like the composition and sepia tone you used. Nice choice. Great capture of a little simple moment. :o)

Have a nice day.

Francois
