| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Our task was to create an abstract montage using items in our pencil cases. Our teacher had made one as an example.
We took individual photos of each thing on a background of white paper. We used levels to make the background whiter. We made a rough selection around part of the object and feathered. We dragged the selection onto a new canvas, resized and rotated it until we liked how it looked. When we had 3 objects we used stroke to add a border.
We are 9 years old. |

This is great kidz! I like the way you have selected only part of each object. You have arranged them nicely in the space to make a balanced composition. The slogan on the ruler adds a lot to this montage - did you include that on purpose or was it just a coincidence? Very well done!
Get a Life! You have! You also have a better grasp of photo edit than I do. If you look at my 'collection' it is all 'straight shots' with no real editing at all. I'm just one of those who can't learn new tricks, I guess. Unless - get on the next plane, come visit me in the Philippines and show me how to do it? That'd be fantastic. How many of you will come?
Full marks for skill!
