Now one from the kids...
This was a mad project that involved a great deal of crazy wandering and, at the end, dashing around like lunatics! I was very proud when my photography group (consisting of about 8 ten(ish) year olds) finally ran into the room with the last letter as this was a project that took rather longer than I imagined.
The kids raced around the school looking for anything that could be interpretted as a letter; some were taken standing upright but many required more imaginative angles and muddy hair as a result...all great fun indeed!
Those involved from 6G were...
creamymukk- K and P
claws - general support and great wandering
and of course me!! (just a little bit of collaging assistance!)
Enjoy...

Wow Caroline!
This is so very very clever, what a fabulous idea and it has really worked well. Good for you getting those kids involved in such a creative and intelligent project, no wonder you were proud. I'd say you've inspired some future photographers.

Very well done indeed.. yes it would have taken some doing, getting all these together... its a fun thing to do for kids and adults alike...
Thanks for sharing..
Nice photo...

Cheers Dawn.

Great Job!!

I love it.

Fantastic! I was really excited about the other one as well. And I may be doing my own. I want to get out and start shooting right away... Again, what's fantastic is that the kids would see the letter is odd shapes like the 'P' or 'R', and as you put them together, they become almost obvious. A good study in how pattern recognition works in the brain. Cool! :)

Cool Caroline,

In one shot you have done all letters that can be used in TL's scavenger hunts! ;o) Nice work. I like it a lot. I like that it is in b&w. High five to all your little buddies. This was a great idea you had.

Hi Caroline!
Compliments for this work, very good idea, very great realization!
Regards!

PS:This photo it is already my favorites list.

I think the children should feel very proud of themselves. They have been very creative and imaginative in their approach to each letter. Each and every child should be congratulated.
Barry.
Here's an idea for the kids. Why not reproduce each comment and stick onto a map of the world to show where all the critiques have come from?
Barry

That could be a good thing to try! I'm shure we all have very different result with a minimum of imagination! We see a good research here!

This is a wonderful project, these kids will never look at the world the same again, but will really see what is there. My hat's off to them and their creative images.
Lois

This is a delight. Fascinating project and very inventive at many levels. I did see the other version, in colour, but this is so interesting. The only 'debatable' one is the 'r', which comes in in lower case and threw me for a moment. No complaints - just a momentary halt in my progression through the sequence.
Photo Club gets the full attention and applause from the Manila Jury. 10/10

Simply magnificent.
Steph.

This is incredible! What an amazing project--wish I had something like that when I was a kid.

My congratulations to you and everyone in the class. You should print a big 30" poster and hang it in the classroom. Or give a copy to everyone in the class. Really well done.
