Hi! Caroline,
I have always wanted to catch a scene of poppies backlit like this. The paper leaf is so special to the poppy and the hairy stems are so strong here. Funny how a thing of beauty can be such a distructive force where man interferes. These are the challenges left on Earth for us all to enjoy or to abuse.
One can only imagine the colourful barren hillsides of Afghanistan where man has propogated this crop of Beauty&Beast.

Good timing! The backlighting surely does pick out all the details. A fine finished product with a comp that does it for me. A happy one.
I thought that the framers had eliminated them all by spraying but the edges of the fields still produce - which is good!
Is there a thriving heroine industry hereabouts?
