[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a photo of my fiancée Cassie which I took in The Pionerr Restaurant in Zion. I'm on someone else's computer at the moment and I can't remember the shutter speeds or anything, but I will update when I get the chance. My Photoshop is on the blink :(

... Just noticed the white line down the right hand side. Apologies for this, it's because I caouldn't get the picture file from my computer and the other website I have it on wouldn't let me save it, so I copy and pasted it into photoshop and I obviously didn't line it up quite right!

Nice shot, I like her expression. The black and white I think is perfect choice for this kind of close shots.Well done, nice comp.

Pamela

Very nice candid shot with good available lighting. Good expression & pose.

first of all, welcome to treklens!
The black and white and the focus on the object makes it a great photo.

Great start on TL, this is very sincere portrait, both by the very beautiful girl and the up-close approach. Btw, it just puzzles me why girls pull the sleeves all the way down to their fingers?

Excellent start!

First-class composition, Chris. Good depth of field. Maybe just a touch over-exposed on the right side of her face and forehead, but personally I like hi-key shots like this. I bet the original files looks even better than the one you pasted in. Usually a couple of generations degrades jpegs. Nice work. -Hugh

A very nice portrait, one well done photograph in BW

Hi Chris
Lovely photo of your fiancée Cassie. She is very natural looking. I just love to see B&W portraits with the blurred backgrounds. Excellent first posting, welcome to TL. Did a workshop for the fun of it, I love adding a little sepia to B&W pics. Thank you

Paul

Ya know, I think this is a great photograph.
She just looks awesome.
I like the cafe setting as well.
You say this was taken in Utah?

This a great photo, Chris! The DoF is perfect, spot on your lovely fiancée, and giving the context in the background. Great tonal range! A beauty!

Great shot chris. Love the momochrome and the subject, even the diner background. All makes for such a great shot with a great story. SHe is a beautiful model and looks like she is about to tell you a story over a coffee :).
