[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
They're back.
Never realised that robins mated more than once a year, but here is proof.

A second clutch, this time six babies squabbling over the morsels being brought in on a very regular basis.
Good to see that if nothing else, at least nature is doing well in the world today.

I managed to grab this whilst the parent birds were away from the nest searching for food.
Nest totally undisturbed, and chicks still doing well.
I would imagine if they're anything like the last clutch, they'll be bobbing around the garden in the next couple of days.

:-D

Hello Martin
Great colours, and very good focus on the first two chicks, you were lucky to get so close with that lens. Hope you keep track of them with your camera before they all leave your garden!
Regards, Leslie

Well done! Superb detail and color and great timing on the action shot. Hope the mom wasn't too long in bringing them their food.

TFS,
Michael

Hi Martin, this is very cute, hard to catch too. Being so close to the chicks and having an f4 aperture value created a very shallow dof subsequently costing the details on chicks and the nest, you could have used a smaller aperture since flash was fired for this shot.. nevertheless it is a good afford, thanks

Hi Martin,

What a great pov you're a lucky guy to have robin's nesting near you. Colour's are great the details are sharp well done.
