| This is a small part of the under part of the S.S.Great Britain, the first iron ship ever to be built. It is to be seen in Bristol. The upper part of the ship has been beautifully restored. The ship is in a dry dock so visitors are able to walk underneath and all around. In my shot you can see rusting metal and decaying wood. I have sharpened the image, hope you like it. |

Hello Jean and welcome to TL. There is nothing as attractive as rust especially in old ships. Combined with the timber, as you have done here doubles the effect. Good colour and light. I could comment on sharpness but I have discovered that my LCD monitor does things to that. Well done and TFS,
David

Hi Jean,
I like these gradual colors of gradual stages of decaying wood very much.

Lots of nice surface detail in this one, good close up capture.
I like this photo with all the shades of brown. I thought I could improve some but this is my first try at a workshop so hope it works & hope you don't mind. Don
