I spotted this collection of ropes etc., on the dockside whilst visiting S.S. Great Britain in Bristol. I liked the different textures all jumbled up together.

Hi Jean!
I like your composition. Different types of ropes, knots, nicely arranged in the frame.
Regards,
Seb

good morning,
I always liked the photographs which show the textures of elements especially those who have a report with the sea.
Well done

Hi Jean,

A quick browse through your thumbnails and this one leapt out at me!

A very effective composition that makes an almost abstract result. It reminds me of some of the exhibits that I saw at the Tate Liverpool when it first opened!

Put this one on a postcard and you really could make money for old rope!!!

Regards

Nigel

Hi Jean,
Very neat, full of details with a balanced luminosity. You could have add a frame though. TFS.

Hello Jean
In my navigation lessons for small crafts, they teach us to make solid sailor's knots!!
These ropes you disposed so artistically in your framing are quite appealing by the variety of shapes and size.
Soft light shows subtle details in shaded areas.
Cheers.
Robert
