[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot of S.S.Great Britain, taken below the level which has been restored.I liked the colours and textures and thought it might make an interesting shot.
In 1843 Brunel launched his S.S.Great Britain, the largest iron ship of the time. In 1970 its rusting hulk was returned to the Bristol dry dock in which it was originally built.

Wonderful close-up of a rusty wall. I like the balance created in the crack running vertically in the wall in the upper half of the photo. The colors are wonderful.

Wonderful colors, Jean, I think I see every color in the rainbow! Well-lighted and focused.

Hi Jean
Wonderful colours and very nice picture.
I hope you'll show us the ship herself.
Regards
Henry

These texture shots are always interesting. This one doesn't lack in colours! Was the tilt to the left intentional? For the rest, good composition!

Good observation!I like the saturation and the sharp texture too.Good urban shot.

chiping

I love these shots Jean. You capture such great texture, colour and contrast with these photos. The colours in this one are vibrant and compliment each other whilst giving contrast. Texture and sharpness is great. Well framed. I have to keep my eye on your work, its so inspiring!

Oh yes Jean this is super, lovely textures and colours.
Richard

Well seen, the colours and textures are great. Nice photo. I've tried a workshop cropping this to a more square shape, and shifting the focal point a bit, to see if this also works.
