Part of a red impressionist series I am trying to achieve. What do you think of the effect? I shot deliberately blurred to achieve a soft monet type effect. Saturation increased by 20...and that is all :)

I quite like the affect, makes the mind paint in the image. Red being such a strong colours always attracts the eye.
I am not sure whether the red object at the base of the photo is necessary or deliberate, perhaps it can be cloned out?

interesting blur indeed, the over exposure help to draw the body lines better, maybe something red instead of the blue jean can be interesting too

Hi Leilani,
a perfect blur and very good colours. A red dot is always an eycatcher (see Schieleīs paintings). First I thought itīs a postprocessing thing, but this way I like it more ! The creative act should be when using the camera. Please continue !
Cheers Chris

I like it, and I like the fact that the human eye doesn't need many clues to put together an image. Creative approach!
