Partial desaturation except the red nails, lens blur except for nails and queen. Played with the exposure in photoshop, overexposed, increased gamma...

interesting idea ;o)
in my point of view, the depth of field is too small ( focus on nails??)
but i like the idea

Yes very good idea but i must agree. why focus only on nails and queen? try to focus on the hole hand.
Good work though!

Hi Leilani,

I like the idea that you have, but I must agree about the focus. I think it would have also been an interesting shot with all pieces in focus.

I appreciate your efforts in photoshop!

Lisa

hello,
it seems you like red color... another interesting shot, great scene. good idea... it's just look a bit strange to cut that straightly the face of your model; it perhaps could have been less "raw" to have a more blury and darker background. anyway, I like your shot!

I like where you are going here, and you've done really well creatively. You are saying 'something' here but I'm not sure what. I think it could be more powerful if perhaps you could see her taking a knight or a king. It would make more of a statement that it is currently. Regards, TW

My dear Leilani
How nice find you here!
Great capture my dear.Wonderful POV composition and lovely colours.
Friendly greetings from Portugal
