[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Been away for a while, and i maybe offline again for a couple of weeks more due to other commitments, but here's another shot from my visit to Duxford in July this year. Tahseen Abidin has contacted me directly asking me to upload more of my shots, so not wanting to disappoint, I'm honoured to oblige.

The Skyraider was produced too late to see action on the Second World war, but was the backbone of the US navy and US Marine Corps during the Korean war in the 50's, and it's weapon carrying capability and long inflight endurance (10 hour flight time) was far superior to any of the jets available during the conflict.

Here we have a machine painted in the colours of the US naval ship USS Intrepid.

Same camera settings as other Duxford uploads, such as 1/200 for prop and cloud blur during panning action, f7.1 for depth etc.

Thanks Tahseen, for the direct approach. It's reminded me of what I've missed in the few weeks I've been offline.

Wow, Martin, thankyou very very much for remembering me and uploading such a wonderful picture. I Love it. once again Thankyou.

Regards,
Tahseen

An amazingly clean, crisp, clear shot. One I'd be proud of. The lens has done a great job as have you. Especially with a 1/200s shutter, that plane must've been moving at a fair pace.

Hi Martin,
Do you get up and fly with these things....are you a bird by nature? These are brilliant, I love the way you manage to catch all your postings as if you were up there with them. The colours and focus is superb with slight blur on the prop to show speed. TFS

Hi Martin
You take us back several years. You did a great job of catching this shot. I know its not easy to stay focused long on these fast moving planes, and yet you managed to get the pilot with good sharness and its fun to see the prop spinning.
Well done
Dot
