Underneath the Arches

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This pic was taken whilst standing under the bridge that carries the A1 motorway over the lovely river Nene. The archway carries another road from a small village called Wansford. The boats you can see on the far side of the bridge are actually moored at the bottom of peoples gardens. 'Normal' people have a car in the drive ;-) The River Nene is a river in the east of England. It flows for 91 miles (147 km) through Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. The tidal river forms the border between Cambridgeshire and Norfolk for about six kilometres. The Nene links the Grand Union Canal to the River Great Ouse, via the Middle Level system. Much of its route has been upgraded to a wide canal with locks at regular intervals. Some sections where the "canal" runs adjacent to the "river" are known as the "Nene Navigation". Hope you find this info useful. |

This is a very good composition! I like how the bridge is reflected on the water. The sky is rather dull, but I think this may be remedied by cropping some more of the picture. I will post a workshop and hope you don't mind.
Best Regards,
Pierre
