Dangerous clouds

During the show of the Guinot Airdisplay team some quite nasty clouds in the distance of Duxford airfield developped. But the show went on. The pretty gals in top of the bi-plane kept smiling while performing a great show!

Hope this third posting isn't boring for you. You still have seen less than half a second of the show :-)

Wow, fantastic capture Hans. Well composed, with dramatic, beautiful clouds. The planes stand out well against the clouds.

TFS,
David

Goed getimed.

TFS Groetjes Simone

I never get tired of seeing you walk the wings Hans! Those are menacing clouds! I would worry about lightening! Nice details, I love the planes coming in tilted, excellent comp here my Hansie!

The parallel position of the 4 wings, the almost identical pose of the ladies (of which I cannot make out whether they're smiling or wetting their pants LOL) are beautiful elements in the picture, Hans... but the clouds do steal the show here: it seems as if both planes are trying very hard to keep in front of the clouds...
Nice work. TFS

Prachtig plaatje geworden.!
Groeten van Jan

I don't know which formation I like best, the clouds or the
bi-planes with the pretty girls,I must be getting old:)
I really like this composition the clouds are fantastic
so dramatic,I think I would be telling the pilot to head to the landing area before the rain or lightning came.

Dangerous clouds, but an amazing shot! I love this!
Stunning sky and a great compo Hans.... Cool!

Cheers,
Anneke

Prachtige compositie Hans !

Mooi eindresultaat Hans.

De vorige bekijk ik ook nog wel.

I like the danger that is highlighted by this PoV -- the girls look so vulnerable against the threatening clouds behind them
superb composition as well

Hans,

Boring? No way.... just keep posting them. I still think these women are crazy. The dramatic sky just adds to the danger that these women face when on the wing. I'm sure the weather plays a big factor with their stunts and can change in a minute.

I like seeing the two planes in the frame. The angle at which they are flying just makes their feat more daring!

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Wonderful composition

hi hans.
are you trying to scare me to death?

an excellent capture of the planes and the scary people standing on them.

you have managed a pin sharp image yet again.

regards
Brian

I love the dark clouds Mr. GB. The tilted wings of these wonderful old planes highlighted against the darkness are a great mood. If not for the girls it could have been a dog fight with the planes using the clouds as cover. I love how my imagination is inspired with this one. As to the young ladies, they are very brave I must say. Great composition and presentation.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hi, Hans, great photo... At the first it's remind of some scene from the II WW, so that's make this photo so interesting and authentic...

Hello Hans,

Are they very low to the ground? or are you standing in the hight ground to captured this? This is really nice series, I never see one of these in real life, bet it must be breath taking. Sky wasn't nice to you, but still you have captured a wonderful shot. Nice details and sharpness, I like your composition here, :D

Have a nice day,

Cheers,
Sweety

Wonderful capture!
Both planes so evenly placed.

Good clouds, with dark tones and nice curves.

Thomas

Hoi Hans,

Mooi!

Groeten, Dennis

Excellent detail on the planes Hans regardless of the gloom. Well composed and good colour. I think the walkers may have needed a hot drink when they embarked,
