The DOF is quite good, and I can appreciate the sharp focus; on wildlife it's sometimes tough to accomplish.

Impressive composition with the head right in the centre of the shot and the body lying squarely on the 1/3. Good work.

This is too good. Too good for me to try and make it better. But. The bit of dark top right is a little distracting. Part of me wants to say it keeps the focus surrounding the deer and the angle of it's head, but another part is distracted by it, wondering if it's pavement or a tree branch...which I think may simply be unnecessary.
Good good work. I've seen plenty of deer in my days, and I'm not sure I've ever wanted to pet one as much as this.
