This photograph is another taken at Chester Zoo.

Chester Zoo’s mission is to promote and support conservation, to help save species threatened with extinction. This mission is pursued through programmes in conservation breeding, public education and research, advances in animal welfare and the participation in conservation outreach activities worldwide.
Which species will be the next to disappear forever? The Black Rhino, Komodo Dragon, Asian Elephant, Philippine Cockatoo and Ebony Tree are just a few examples of species that could become extinct within our lifetime. Some species, including the Scimitar Horned Oryx, Socorro Dove and the Black Footed Ferret, are already extinct in the wild. Other species, for example the Bali Starling, Rothschild Giraffe and South China Tiger, are on the very brink of extinction.
Each year Chester Zoo is involved with many outreach projects, working directly to protect threatened plants and animals, and their habitats, in the wild. Projects range from the support of Black Rhino anti poaching activities in East Africa to the conservation of wildlife in the Forest Reserves of China.

Nice shot Leslie Zoo's are a great place to get nice shots I vaugely remember going to Chester zoo as a child I spent my youth in Liverpool and Knowsley Safari park was another memory from the area. I like the POV and good sharpness on the beak looks like its trying to stare you out there! nice eye contact and well composed have a happy new year best rgds Necip
