[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the Spanish horses that was going through its paces at the Cheshire Horse Show in May 2007.
The horses were dancing to the music which was being broadcast over the loudspeakers.
I think this one is an Andalusian, although I am not sure.
I once owned a beautiful Andalusian mare called Delicada.
She was an amazing creature and always exceeded my expectations of her.
She was a dark bay colour but later turned to a dappled grey, very similar to this one.
There were Lippizanners and Lusitanos at the show also, but I think they stay almost pure white throughout their lives.
I am sure that some good people will be able to put me right if I am not quite hitting the real facts here.
Anyway, it was a great day out and I will be back there this year.
Hopefully, I will have some much better photos to post here.
I seem to be improving my photographic skills as time goes by.
We shall see.

Thanks for looking.

Regards

Roy

Don't mind a bit of equine additions...bit of a Polo man myself.. (not the aftershave) but I have visited the Spanish Riding School in Vienna to see the Lippizans training...TFS

Hi Roy,
This is a lovely picture of this Spanish horse.
I love the way you have captured the movement.

Lippizanners start off black and later in life turn white.

Nice shot - im a big one for the horses - the only niggle is that this would have been better if they were coming towards you but i understand that this is not always easy with people working their horses :)
