2nd in the series of Blea Tarn, notes can be found at yesterdays post.

I spent a good hour and a half at this location, although it's only a very small Tarn it's so photogenic, with options at every angle.
This one was took still very early morning and was one of my first shots of the day, hence the steely cold blue feel to the sky and water. This was my personal favourite of the shoot.

PP Resized, saturation boost, resharpned and title/border added.

Hi Dean.
Wow. Great capture. Awesome light and reflection. Great colour and composition. Beautifully presented.
Best regards, Steve.

Good morning Dean

I have been comparing this one to yesterdays posting to see which one I prefer.. If I were buying the prints to go on a wall I would end up with both. Different lighting and framing and both superb. Whatever will you pull out of the bag next my friend.

TFS regards Helen

Good exposure and the low angle choice; however I'd like to avoid the vegetation from the closed foreground.

Just fantastic ... very well done. It's unusual for the light of a reflection to be as bright as the light in the sky, most photographers have to do some burning or adjustsment to achieve that - what's your trick? It's very impressive.

Great shot

Hi Dean,
I can't become tired of these stunning panorama's you show us here on TL. Perfect brightness and sharpness, I like the contrast in this image, with the dark hills and bright sky. Perfect presented in the large white frame.

Hi Dean,
Wow what can I say another stunning landscape, I have never been to the lakes and with pictures like this do I need to, I like the way the colours are just starting to show and the reflection is excellent. The only thing if I had to pick something is that the POV could have been moved a couple of feet so that the reflection did not join the foreground rocks, but as I said thats just nit picking.
TFS Andy

Superb compo, colors and reflections. Creative framing.

TFS,
Andreea

A perfect landscape day, I am setting off to Glencoe tomorrow at 5am just for that reason the early light, hope it stays dry. Keep up the excellent work.

Hi Dean, I can see why this is your favourite;I agree with you that there is a cold feel but it adds to the shot.
The colours and sharpness are beautiful.
I like the white frame as it complements the scene by accentuating the white clouds.
TFS, regards Jean.

Wow! Very spectacular picture! The light and the reflection are awesome! Beautiful sharpness and excellent framing! Bravo!

Hi Dean,

Seeing both shots next to each other, I go for this one! I'm really going for the harsh tones and the other one is just a bit too soft for me in the greens. This one is a bit darker - even a bit too dark to the left where the trees are at the lakeside - but the colours come out so nicely. Nice!

Have a good weekend!

Hello Dean,

You have presented a magnificient natural view in this beautiful composition. Well balanced shot from an exciting view point. Reflection is looking interesting in this image. Well done my friend.

Thanks for sharing this image.

Hi Dean,

Great image. I know Blea Tarn very well and you do get some stunning reflections in the water. It helps having the Langdale Pikes so close to hand across Langdale, and you have captured them wonderfully in this shot. Great sky too.

Very well handled shot, good composure troughout, your fg is spot on. Great exposure too. Well done, and TFS,

John

Hi Dean,
Yeah - I agree. This is my favourite of your series too. Most others show too much contrast due to a more powerfull sun. It is a landscape close to perfect and absolutelly pro work. TFS.
From my personal POV I wonder how this would look like if you'd crop the bottom even more than in the WS.
I will try another one.
Have a great day and KEEP ON TREKKING, Dean

Hi Dean,
This is a real stunner. Such a awesome reflection of a beautiful piece of nature. Great work on the FG interest and the leadlines. The soft light helped out perfectly giving you a nice set of fluffy pinkish clouds.
TFS,
Niek

P.S. I cannot understand the idea of both the WS versions. Looks like they need a lesson in landscape photography

Hi Dean,
an absolute delight here :-)
Exposure is spot on. Colours, the mirror-like reflections and superb detail make this is really successful photograph.

I also like the framing/border. Great presentation.

Best regards, Daniel

Hi Dean,

Beautiful composition! Very nice shot! Great reflection! Perfect ultra-wide angle!
But left side is lacking details though, too dark.

Hi Dean
A breathtaking and eyecatching shot, Superb image quality and good POV. Its seems the Sigma 10-20 is a good match for EOS 30D... give me an alternative for a new lens. Thank you...
