Hello Everyone,

This little lemur was determined to show us his fingers which looked a bit like those belonging to E.T! I assure you, I have not altered them in any way... that is exactly as they were!

He looked as if he were playing '1,2,3,4,5 ... once I caught a fish alive', when I took this shot.

This lemur was captured at Ulverston Wild Life Park. The lemurs are permitted to roam freely around the grounds and scuttle past at every opportunity. They are not permitted to frequent the picnic or cafe areas, for obvious reasons, so keepers with water pistols are on patrol. (Truthfully, I think they do it for no other reason than to entertain the children!)

Click here for further information about the Wildlife Park.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph.

Hiya Bev

What a superb capture, really sharp with excellent light and detail. Loveyl POV and a really good idea for the theme. I have to mention one small thing. The shadow on his hand is in the same line as the black framing. Whilst I love the framing I feel it might have been better moved accross just a tad so that its clear the shadow is not part of the frame. I really hope you dont mind me mentioning that. Its an excellent post and a very original idea.

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Nice OOB work Bev. A rather droll expression on the beasties face too. Well composed with good detail.

Good work here.
I like it!

Hello Bev - a very interesting subject, and excellent how you've isolated the hand into the frame. The background is nicely out of focus - although I find it a little distracting, but you've done a good job with the image considering you don't have much say over backgrounds at a wildlife park..

David

What a sweet shot! I like how you framed the lemur with his fingers extended into the border. The expression on his face is amusing. Great POV and detail. Well done.
