[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,

This morning, I am posting a shot which follows on from my posting yesterday. Yesterday, I showed the view from the top of the walk, this morning, I am showing the end of the walk, looking back towards the hills and the tarn. If you look closely, you will see Sour Milk Gill tumbling over the rocks. It is called this because its gushing white water resembles milk.

For those who have never been, The Lake District in Cumbria is a wonderful place of hills, lakes, wildlife and friendly people. Round every bend there is a new and exciting view and, of course, photographers see it even more intensely. The changing light can create a whole new scene!

Many thanks for your visit.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)

Hello Beverley! Amazing landscape, good POV and capture, ideal colours. Original capture and frame. Well done!

che bel paesaggio hai fotografato!
bellissima composizione di paesaggio, sfondo ed il muretto tagliare la foto quasis ad interromperla come un taglio di una lama che si prefigge di alternare le varie situazioni geologiche e naturali

Hi Beverley

The 'z' shaped wall provides good lead in lines. Excellent colour, sharpness & framing. The softness in the bg doesn't worry me all that much. Tfs!

Hi MF Bev,

An amazingly beautiful and impeccable scen capture once more!
TFS and have a nice week MF!

Bayram

Hi Bev :)

Wow, what a lovely capture of the breathtaking landscape!
The hills look so nice with lush green colors and a waterfall enhances beauty of the picture. Inclusiing tree on the left side of the picture, was a great idea.

Hi Bev,

The lakes are a really beautiful place to go and a perfect place for the photographer, this is a very nice scene. I like the wall that leads across and into the shot the fells at the back are looking very nice. The pov is very nice the details are sharp and good dof well done.

Beautiful shot Bev The UK lake district takes some beating The mountains are much bigger in Canada but the mixture of sun and cloud in the lakes really shows the lakes in their full grandeur Nice pov It wouldmake a wonderful painting TFS

Hey Beverley,

Beautiful work as always. I like the meandering wall leading you through the image. Great light on those hills. The face of the wall is a bit dark, but otherwise, a wonderful image.

Makes me want to go!

Hi Beverley, a good use of the stone wall on the diagonal to lead us right into the scene. The tree is useful too in giving us a natural frame and guiding us into the picture.
A good choice PoV as you show a landscape so typical of the Lakes.
Lovely light brings out all the colours.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hello Bev
Your weather must be turning now – for the worst maybe ;-), the English countryside has some gems, Cumbria must be u a the top. Excellent view, the greens are terrific and the stone wall and faraway waterfall are a bonus.
Well done
Jim

Hi Bev,
This looks like painting. Fine composition with muted colours. I am glad that you did not try to saturate the colours here. Reminds me of "all Creatures Great and Small"
