Good Morning Everyone,

This is a view of a pathway, in the Lake District, which runs from Grasmere to Easedale Tarn.

The weather was beautiful when we made this journey so it was pleasant both to walk and to photograph.

There were quite a few other people walking that day so I tried my best to use them, for human interest and for scale.

The sheep were also in abundance but were far less willing to follow the requests of photographers! They would remain curious and appealing until the camera was ready for action, and then annoyingly would move away rapidly!

Many thanks for your interest.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)

Shot in Raw.
Converted with PSE6.
pp slight crop, adj levels, sharpened, added borders and signed

Hello Beverley,

Nice landscape composition with very natural colors and lightness.

Best regards,
Tatjana

Bonjour Beverley.

oui les moutons sont un peu loin et surtout le fil barbellé passe juste sur eux;

Hi Beverley

Nice repetition of the fence posts, with superb lead in lines & diminishing linear perspective, provided by the path. The man is well positioned near the vanishing point. Tfs!

Hi Bev ;)

Wow, what a great green colored landscape with a nice way, leading my eye to such a lovely place! The sharpness and POV are perfect here, and keeping the way off-centered, was a great idea, my friend!
Beautiful sky with addition of clouds, is certainly a bonus.

Have a nice Sunday.

best wishes,
Paras

Hello Beverley,an excellent composition with the fence leading our eyes in to the scene. The bonus of the walker really adds to the shot.
Beautiful sunlight over the whole picture.
Lots of lovely details to enjoy.
Tfs, regards Jean.

What a beautiful scenic spot Bev. It sure doesn't look like autumn yet in those parts!
Great lead-in with the fence in the bottom left ... and that path takes ones eye right into the shot, as does the other walker. Great lush green colors.
Enjoy your Sunday

Colors are beautiful.
Congratulation1

Lovely compositional setup in this shot, the division of the photo into the elements of stream and meadow, bisected by the fence. The eye is led effortlessly on a journey and finds a resting point with the receding figure - bliss!

Hi Bev,
I like the perspective effect of the fence here. It takes my eye to the wanderer in the distance. A fine composition with a good low POV. Try next time to put the first pole as close as possible to the left lower corner. Anyway a fine posting Bev!

I really love the contrasting blues and greens here Bev. Somehow they just need to be together like this...
A lovely place with lots of options and I really like the composition... the fence leading into the distance... just wonderful!

Anneke

Hi Bev,
Charming scene giving us the taste of a walking in nature!
The composition is perfectly done with the perspective of the path, the leaned fence, the hills at the horizon and the walker placed just at the right place. The colors are really natural.
Very good photo! Annie

Hi Bev,
I love it! So fresh and pure, incredibly sharp too. Great inclusion of the person using the walking track, the poles lead us into the distance nicely also. What I most like about this photo is the tones - Has a really peaceful and tranquil feeling about it. A 'feel good' photo so to speak. One of my favourites from you, well taken.

TFS,
Scott.

hello Bev,
