[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everyone, this shot puts my previous post..."Brick/Stone wall-Weathered" in context.Going through the arch is where I discovered the beautiful sandstone walls that were so weathered and offered lovely textures and colours.
Maybe not everyones 'cup of tea' but I like walls like this,it inspires me to get out my paints! On this occasion I used my camera.
This building as far as I can discover, is a folly and probably had no serious purpose.

Thanks for your visit, have a good weekend.

Hi Jean
Lovely composition, subtle colours and good texture

Excellent picture of the old building. Light is superb on the texture.

HI Jean
You are not the only one that likes this, so do I.
I like the sculpturing, the green mold that the humidity has left, the vines, the windows you can see through.
Taken on a grey day I think you did a great job.

Hello, Jean.

This is perfect! Perfect exposure, great clarity and sharpness and lovely colours too - very natural and not at all overdone.

Good composition and an interesting and informative note too.

Your sharp and clear pictures remind me a little of those on TL and TE of another of my favourites - Peter Geldart (graffer) - his pictures are always superbly sharp and clear and of not dissimilar subject matter.

Best Wishes,

John.

hello Jean

Nice to see your post here for this old structure with vegetation. The layers of green tone is superb. Good vertical format.
